I feel like this is how it went down when the language was developing
“Hey let’s make random, irregular words that follow absolutely no rules so we can trip people up when they are trying to speak our language. Also lets make idioms and sayings that make no sense so people sound like fools when they try to say them. Also lets make a shit ton of slang words so we confuse people even more!
dieting ≠ trying to loose weight
Person: Want some? *offers up delicious looking gluten product which I can't have because I'm a glutard*Me: No thanks, I'm on a gluten free diet.
Person: WHAT? BUT YOU'RE SO SKINNY YOU DON'T NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT! *has hernia*
Me: Okay I'm sorry, I'll just eat your gluten, have an allergic reaction and become a prune so you won't have a panic attack. -.-
working out ≠ trying to loose weight
Me: Eeeew I don't want to go work out today.Person: You workout? But your so skinny you don't need to loose weight! *starts having a hernia because she thinks I'm obsessing over my weight*
Me: -.- It's called being an athlete you idiot.

Me: Basketball season in starting soon. Gotta get in shape.Person: What? Look how skinny you are! You're in perfect shape!
Me: -.- Are you kidding me. I can't even walk up a flight of stairs without breaking a sweat.
I’m tired of everyone just reblogging skinny girls, we all come in different sexy shapes and sizes.
^ Agreed! But this is also a little offensive to those who can’t help being skinny… Body weight insecurities can go both ways you know!
